“I saw an excerpt …… that features your product and I figured I would write to explain what a valuable tool your ISID kit is to our field. I am a Coroner Investigator in Youngstown, Ohio and I had recently responded to an apparent suicide in which the local law enforcement had utilized your ISID kit to determine if the decedent fired the weapon. The test results were indeed positive (minutes later) and this was just one of a many pieces of information that helped our office confirm that the incident was indeed a suicide. This test as a 'stand alone' reliability test is of course not good practice, but looking at the entire case as a whole and taking the positive results into consideration indeed helps Investigators solidify their ruling. Near instant results! Very Impressive! It was almost taboo watching the process take place right at the scene. We knew who were doing the home invasions but were unable to tie them to other cases. We used a 20 man team and did surveillance and stake outs until they pulled another job. We caught them after a short pursuit with our SWAT team. They fired on our SWAT guys and we apprehended them all. Did a GSR kit on the car load of suspects and got a positive match on the main guy. By the way we arrested 10 people as a result of the home invasions and stolen property recovered. They were responsible for at least 20 home invasion robberies in our county.
